Steampunk Table - Antique Treadle Sewing Machine Base

I thought you’d like a look at this steampunk style table that I built using an old treadle sewing machine as the base. I wired brushed the loose rust off, scrubbed it with soap and water, and then coated everything in a rust-inhibiting clearcoat. I also added a cherry veneer top with brass corner caps. I hope you find it interesting…thanks for watching! www.facebook.com ramblinaroundonyoutube.wordpress.com twitter.com homemade furniture antique treadle sewing machine dining table desk cherry veneer brass screws spinning wheel hand painted Free barn find vintage classic steampunk style art design refinished rusty clear coat RamblinAround rambling vlog hd partner

  13. My son can’t sit next to it without pumping away on the pedal either. I would like to make that pulley do something. I thought about either running a light or a fan off it.
