Datamancer- Steampunk Laptop

This is a short video of the Datamancer Steampunk Laptop being powered-on using an antique clock-winding key and then turned off using a small button hidden beneath the speaker fabric in the violin “f-hole” speaker openings. See more at www.datamancer.net

I’m putting the finishing touches on a new version of this laptop that is sleeker, cleaner, and uses an Asus gaming laptop at its core.I’ll be delivering on the first batch of pre-orders in a few weeks and will be making a few more batches an adding more options as I go- new lid designs, stains, accents, etc.

  14. When I 1st saw it, and the workmanship on the stills, I guessed it would be in the 5k range, and I was right (me thinks even worth a bit more, really). If I had the 5k , and wasn’t among the gainfully unemployed right now, I would snap up one of these in a heartbeat!. Great build! Great detail!
